Why not actually facilitate LDoA? Add one of two things to pre-searing Ascalon:

1. A single Level 20 Charr Boss, tucked away in The Northlands.
2. A repeatable quest "Prove Your Mettle", which would be obtainable from Rurik on completion of all other presear quests, would require you to go north of the wall and kill the existing four Charr Bosses to prove your worth before joining Rurik's party. This quest would offer a 250 XP reward.

Either way would allow legitimate completion of the LDoA title, as well as the possibility of the Survivor title, and would actually consist of legendary actions in defence of Ascalon!

I'm sure those that have (or nearly have) the LDoA title would say 'Rawr, I did it the hard way!' but these solutions would mean while XP could be earned faster, you would in fact need to be at the screen fighting for the entire time, instead of asleep while you get repeatedly smooshed by a Strider or Charr.

Either that or change the title to Legendary Coffin-filler of Ascalon :P
QFT and /signed a thousand times over!! lol

First off, I know its been confirmed a million times already but I can also vouch for the fact that this item is real. I have 2 of them on my level 17 ele in pre.

No, its not crap. People who plan to stay in pre for a while, such as those going for LDoA now get some extra much needed storage. While I agree that minipets are crap, some people like them and having them in the game isn't doing anyone any harm, so why complain? (P.S - minipets CAN be shown in town now )

You rather have a charismatic knight in shining armor which aggros everyone due to his incompetence or the battlehardened warrior with the dulled armor who actually knows the weaknesses and strength of his opposing classes, since he also spend time playing as them?
Yes because everyone who has expensive items/armor bought the gold off the internet. Oh wise one, how did you make this discovery? Please enlighten us with more of your wisdom, oh wise one.

Like I said before its more than a novelty item. Its pretty much a must have for any character staying in pre for a while. No **** the price will drop. Thats what happens with every new item. White dye, anyone?

Its not a trick. Its game mechanics. You don't need to get the title. If you don't like the game mechanics required to get it then guess what...... don't get it. Who'd of thought it was that easy....

And synch entering RA with friends makes you a Terrifying Gladiator? Sitting afk on a ring makes you lucky? /roll 100 makes you a Triumphant Commander? Drinking and then zoning for 2-3 hours makes you a Incorrigible Ale-Hound?

Now I'm not about the dismiss the idea of having easier ways to get LDoA, however one thing I will say, is that having the ability to get LDoA + survivor on the same character is not fair. Basically this means that only the original 6 characters can get a "1-up" title for KOABD. Right now, you can make a factions/nf and get survivor to get a "1-up", or make a prophecies and get either survivor OR LDoA to get a "1-up". However, if it became possible to get LDoA AND Survivor on the same character, it would give prophecies characters 2 "1-ups", which would be unfair. Wanna have the max amount of titles maxed for whatever level of koabd on a sin/rit/derv/para? Tough luck, you can only do it on prophecies characters. The way it is now is fine, because it gives all characters from all campaigns and equal chance.

While there is a lot of afk time, you do have to do the char setup, which can take 20-30 mins per setup, as well as getting to level 16 (you have to d-level to get experience beyond 16). That being said I'm still not about to dismiss the idea of an easier way to get LDoA. Just make sure you can't get survivor+LDoA on the same character.

Legender Coffin-filler of Ascalon is a much cooler title. If they changed it to that I might actually consider d-leveling again on my ele to get that title. I'm being serious too...

If they made an easy way of getting the LDOA title it would be worthless, people like it now because its hard to get, it annoys me every time i see someone saying they wish a certain title was easier so they could get it, if the title was easier then it would just be as common the all the other simple titles like drunkard and cartographer.

QFT. Hey, why not just add a button to the game. When you click that button it instantly gives you every title maxed. That would own so much, right guys....?

i agree.

not starting the debate on its fair or unfair. Or starting the i want it easy because i cant make it. In fact i am almost there after hours of death leveling.

BUT i dont think you should not be able to get one title just because you got another. i dont care how hard it is or how long it takes. if i cant make it because i dont have the skill thats my prob. but i would like the chance to get it.

Some thing I would mind however, is the possibility to get both Survivor and Legendary Defender of Ascalon (Pre-Searing would probably be full of people going for KOABD). I also think 250xp is already too much, seeing I kill all 4 bosses in 5 minutes. I want a quest that takes 40 minutes, and only get you like 100xp, so that it's still hard to get, but at least possible without having to deathlevel.
